It is extremely subjective. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder… however!
In designing our first app’s user interface, we thought we had it right from day one. As the few weeks went by, and our app was taking shape, we realised that many elements simply did not work together. So, since we could afford time to go back to the drawing board, that is what we did.
Sketch pads, Photoshop, Sketch, more sketch pads (a3, a4, a5, moleskine… you name it) we slowly started shaping the user interface (UI) to the way we thought would work better. It is not always just about the look, but it is also important to focus on usability and ease-of-access, as well as the flow of an interface.
